Inside (Her)

Our Interview with the Photographer

Tell us about yourself.

I am a 20 years old photographer, living in Paris.

Why photograph?

I started taking pictures when I was 9 or 10, during several trips with my family. Then I continued

photographing my friends, my dog, my horse. When I was 18, I chose to study photography in a

Parisian school. I think it has always been for me a way to express myself and now, with fashion, to

materialize strange atmospheres I have in my mind.

What’s the last song you listened to?

Listen: Looking for Love by Chromatics

I’ve like this band for a long time and would be a great song to play during a
shoot. It is energetic, but not noisy, and could help my model get in a good
mood!

What inspires you ?

Fashion has always inspired me. Since a young age, I’ve always been immersed in this world,
with many fashion magazines at home. I continue to watch runway shows to find new ideas.
Painting, particularly dark romanticism, which is my diploma subject this year, is another
source of inspiration for me, in the atmospheres that I try to create. I love this pictorial aspect in
photography.
