With over ten years of songwriting and music industry experience behind her, Hannah Diamond showcases honed talent through her latest single “Perfect Picture” released August 17th, 2023. This is the third single released from the artist’s newest album Perfect Picture, which debuted on October 6th, 2023 via PC Music.

From Diamond’s early start in 2012 songwriting with A.G. Cook, her talent and aptness for being on the forefront of experimental pop is shown through her ability to continuously push the edge of pop music. Since signing with Cook’s London-based record label and art collective PC Music, Diamond has collaborated with music artists such as Charli XCX, Tommy Cash, 100 gecs, and more.
Diamond’s first single “Pink and Blue” assisted with rocketing the soon to be powerhouse label to new heights. Since signing in 2013, Diamond released 14 singles as a lead artist and soon to be two full length albums. Along with Diamond’s career as a musician, Diamond showcased her photography and visual artistry prowess through projects with DIY, L’Officiel, band Sundara Karma, and more.
Four years ago Hannah Diamond released her long awaited debut album Reflections, focusing on the lament of heartbreak, love in the digital age, and self-discovery. The album was a success for the UK artist, with singles “Fade Away, “Make Believe,” “True,” “Invisible,” and “Love Goes On” leading the way to Diamond’s first headlining tour, The Invisible Tour, in 2019.
The release of “Perfect Picture” marked the next chapter of the exciting countdown to the release of Diamond’s latest album of the same name. The single begins with the artist’s signature glimmering synths, impactful bass, and pitch-perfect vocal tones. Diamond reflects in the song how “people change, but pictures always stay the same,” expressing a feeling of longing for a time long gone, and how you can enjoy those moments again through a digital photograph.
As the song continues, Diamond crescendos, referencing how temporary everything feels – but here, in this moment, when looking back at pictures, they’ll remember how perfect it was.

The accompanying music video is a collaboration between director christopher tym and producer Laura Mival showcasing a ballerina, played by Diamond, being recorded in a room full of blinking warm lights. As the camera twirls around the ballerina, Diamond draws us in and sings to the audience about how “picture-perfect” they appear in this moment through the lines of the song.
This upbeat, shimmering single was a great precursor to her newest album, which could be a Perfect Picture of Hannah Diamond in her best era to come!
