Aileen Goos

Aileen Goos

Aileen Goos is a journalist and lifelong music fan who loves telling the stories of the voices behind the songs. One of her fondest memories is listening to records on her grandparents’ old hi-fi, singing and dancing along to the skips and scratches of well-worn vinyl. She didn’t know it then, but those moments would lead her into the spotlight – auditioning for the Mini-Pops as a tween, landing a spot in a Canadian kids’ singing group with a spirited rendition of “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star,” and later becoming a runner-up in MuchMusic’s national VJ talent search fresh out of high school. When she’s not mapping out her next concert adventure, you’ll find her practicing Taiko drums or poring over lyrics that capture the heart and soul of a song.
