Sometimes the best way to introduce yourself, is through transforming someone else’s song first. Seventeen-year-old British singer/songwriter Emilia Tarrant’s debut “If You Want Love” transforms NF’s aching plea into a poignant piano ballad.

Atwood Magazine is proud to be premiering the music video for “If You Want Love,” Emilia Tarrant’s debut single. Released in mid-July and already racking up over 100,000 streams, “If You Want Love” delivers an authentic message of vulnerable, stirring heartache.

“After emotionally hitting me from the first listen, ‘If You Want Love’ was a song I fell in love with, could relate to in so many different ways and therefore, had to cover,” Tarrant tells Atwood Magazine. “The lyrics and melody are so beautiful and I hope that by singing it myself and playing it on piano, I made it my own. This release has been a great introduction and reflection of me as an artist, and I can’t wait for the world to see this video!”

“If You Want Love” finds Tarrant balancing the desire to scream and shout, with the urge to drop to a whisper and fall to the floor. The young artist’s performance features stirring highs and breathtaking lows – finding her take NF’s words, and make them her own as she rises and falls in tandem with the song.
