Watch: Anna Ladd’s “Posted”

Anna Ladd, in her short film “posted”, explores the nature of human relationships, both romantic and platonic, as told by evolution. Ladd says of the film:

I remember talking about evolution in my 8th grade science class, and my teacher telling us that he thought the strictly human connection between love and sex was a huge evolutionary flaw. It’s something that no other species has and it’s something that I still think about. This is a video about that.

Reading this description illuminates the skeleton of the work: humans are “flawed,” but is this necessarily a bad thing?
