Stream: “Therapy & Yoga” – JESSIA

JESSIA’s “Therapy & Yoga” doesn’t stretch itself out.

It’s just shy of hitting two minutes, but every second of its run counts. Producer Jason Parris frames her with quick, digital keys and a thunky, present drum pattern that’s more about propulsion than punch. A subtle electric guitar hums just below the surface, feeding into the bright, upbeat feel. She’s barely started – just two lines out – and already the place feels like it’s shaking off a chill.

JESSIA, never one for soft-pedaling or playing coy, sidesteps pure storytelling entirely – she’s right there, waving you into her post-breakup starter pack, the whole vibe sunlit and glinting at the edges.

Therapy & Yoga – JESSIA
You go and run your mouth
On every girl in town
And make sure I see it
Yeah you, living at the bar
Feel like you’re a star
‘Cause you’re finally free, yeah
So don’t try to call if you start to regret it
I’m already gone, don’t you waste your breath

Her voice, semisweet but never sticky, cuts through with conversational honesty. She sings as if narrating to someone she trusts, reporting the facts without dipping so much as a pinky toe into a pool of drama.

A hint of weariness tugs at certain phrases, but there’s a cool resolve in the delivery – controlled where needed, relaxed at other turns. It isn’t icy, but there’s nothing left to get upset about.

Lyrically, JESSIA ticks through the aftermath – public callouts, bruised pride, her ex living “at the bar,” and the moment of separation when the phone starts lighting up but she’s already switched on the “Do Not Disturb” mode. The emotional through-line gets summed up with one of the song’s sharpest lines in the chorus:

By the time you find you’re alone in this world
I’ve already cried and gone out with the girls
Done my therapy and yoga
Forget I even know ya
By the time you find,
I’ll be somebody else’s girl

Here, “therapy and yoga” stands as both a checkpoint and a punchline. These self-care references are laid out as an honest part of her new routine. There’s a casual, almost weightless kind of push here; the song wears its freedom lightly, sunlight peeking in around the edges. At the turn, everything pares down. Drums drop out, a synthy string pad stretches the air, all before the chorus folds everything back in.

By the final chorus, the power shift has landed – she’s “dating real men,” and the exit feels signed off and boxed up. The closing moment, with JESSIA’s solo vocal proudly claiming the title of being “…somebody else’s girl” arrives with a smirk curling at the corners that’s all salt and sparkle.

Vocally she leans into composure and humor, never tipping into melodrama. JESSIA lets her voice ring out when the moment needs a little extra push but mostly keeps her focus on telling her story with dry directness. Think “So don’t try to call if you start to regret it / I’m already gone / Don’t you waist your breath” and the calm confidence of “I’ll be somebody else’s girl.” No matter which angle you approach, her whole presence spells out resolve, even as she lets just enough of the raw edges show.

It hits you like a bus
In a couple months
That sex ain’t hitting right
I’m dating real men
Don’t have to pretend he gets it every time
Don’t try to call if you start to regret it
I’m already gone, don’t you waste your breath
By the time you find you’re alone in this world
I’ve already cried and gone out with the girls
Done my therapy and yoga, forget I even know ya
By the time you find, I’ll be somebody else’s girl

With “Therapy & Yoga,” JESSIA sharpens what’s become her trademark: Honest writing, lean production, and the ability to say what’s on her mind without dressing it up.

It’s bright, wry, restorative, and built for breezy replay.

Our starlet stands her ground with a cool certainty and this summertime soundtrack glows bright because of it.
