Ultimate Old-School Supergroup The Rolling Bon Bones Unites and Announces Tour

Dad rockers of the world unite! The Rolling Bon Bones are here to reenergize your lives.

A gift to your grandparents, all middle-aged mothers, and dudes who really like hair rock groups, because The Rolling Bon Bones have formed and they’re going on tour this summer.

This supergroup is a crossover between both deceased (hence, the Bones), less prominent, and former touring members of The Rolling Stones and Bon Jovi. The lineup includes Ian McStewart, Bryan Jones on vocals instead of (Jon) Bon Jovi — same initials, same difference, Alex John Such, and Jeff Kazoo.

The Rolling Bon Bones are excited to get out on the road and break some hip bones in the process, playing greatest hits covers of “Wanted Dead or Alive,” “It’s All Over Now,” and “Rip This Joint.” The shows are expected to make use of inflatable skeletons that the crowd can throw around like beach balls to add to the experience. They are not attempting to distract audiences from the fact that neither band is in their prime anymore at all.

The Rolling Stones and Bon Jovi together at last. The dead ones, at least.

Kicking things off in Twin Falls, Idaho on April 1st, The Rolling Bon Bones will make the rounds playing at rundown venues across the Midwest. They will be ending their tour with a bang, though, because they also somehow managed to book New York’s Madison Square Garden for two nights in August.

No opening act has been announced at the moment.

Tickets are still available for their NYC shows on August 32 and 33 at the band’s website www.bonbonesdontgiveaf*ck.com.
