Every other week, Anthony Kozlowski pens the Atwood Magazine column Tunes & Tumblers, pairing new and classic albums with cocktail recipes. He quickly found however that drinking alone is a sad business. So he invited his friends into a recording booth to aid in mixing delicious drinks and to discuss the music that they all love. Strap on your headphones and enjoy a cold one on us.

Ready to have an existential crisis in a mosh pit? Neither were we, but look at us now! This week drummer Macky Bowman of the explosive garage-punk band The Bobby Lees joins us in the junkyard as we explore the complexity of the mocktail with a spicy citrus refresher. Tune in as we dive into the aquatic ambience of Donkey Kong Country, the band’s latest album ‘Bellevue’, and the collaborative songwriting process that continues to evolve.
But first, here’s a spontaneous haiku penned by Bowman himself on why you should give them a listen, in case we somehow weren’t convincing enough:
The Bobby Lees are
dope as f bro, please collect
your thoughts and love us
*** This one’s virgin, so feel free to enjoy irresponsibly ***
Check out our newest episode of Tunes & Tumblers on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Cheers!
