He quickly found however that drinking alone is a sad business. So he invited his friends into a recording booth to aid in mixing delicious drinks and to discuss the music that they all love. All the while, we sip on a cocktail that requires a trip to iHop, and is a kind of metaphor for trying to push down messy chaos. Join us as we discuss Eric’s current music slump, the pressures that come with creativity, and, “Am I okay?

Messy Layers

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 oz Bloom Rose and Jasmine Gin
  • 1 oz Blueberry simple syrup
  • 2 oz Ginger beer
  • Fresh blueberries
  • Dried rose petals

RECIPE

  1. Pour simple syrup and rose petals in bottom of glass
  2. Fill glass with crushed ice
  3. Pour ginger beer over back of spoon into glass
  4. Float gin on top
  5. Top with skewer of fresh blueberries
