Following recent tracks “Honeycomb,” “Horoscope,” and “Lost Without You,” “Under the Light” sees the Fremantle, Australian trio of Scarlett Stevens, Jordi Davieson, and Josh Biondillo building a gently buoyant, lightly psych-soaked soundscape.

For San Cisco, this song is an ode to, and an exploration of those intense moments of submission – when we simply exist in the here and now, unencumbered by infiltrating thoughts, worries, and the like.
It’s about “when tomorrow doesn’t matter and everything is finally making sense, intentionally lost in a world of sound, light and moving bodies,” San Cisco share. “Moments, that at the time felt monumental but will most likely never be remembered. How can I decipher what is real and true when my feet aren’t firmly planted in reality? When I’m chasing something so damaging, what am I running from?“

There’s two sides to every experience, and San Cisco are characteristically unafraid to look at life through a more complex lens. Visceral and vibrant, “Under the Light” is intoxicating: A radiant seduction that pushes us to think critically about why and how we lose ourselves, and if that momentary salvation is real or imagined. After all, “under the light, you never know if it is fake or love.”
