The Wild Honey Pie’s beloved fundraiser returned to Brooklyn in September 2025, with BENEE performing for a crowd of pizza-loving music fans.
New York pizza, bottomless drinks, and good live music… what more could you ask for?
Launched in 2009, The Wild Honey Pie is a music blog-turned-creative agency that is now the masterminds behind “pizza party” fundraisers. Since its creation in 2023, this concert series has raised thousands of dollars for charity, capturing the attention of sponsors Spindrift Soda, Grillo’s Pickles, and Voodoo Ranger IPAs.
“We get to go around the country throwing parties with our favorite musicians in the world and our favorite chefs, meeting the most incredible humans in the universe,” Wild Honey Pie founder Eric Weiner said. “And we can really only do that because [fans] buy tickets and come and be part of it.”
At these pizza parties, attendees are invited to munch on unlimited food and drinks while listening to an intimate concert.
Ticket sales from this event in particular, minus platform fees and taxes, were donated to Covenant House – a charity based in North and Central America, providing immediate and long-term support for young people facing homelessness and survivors of trafficking.
Weiner celebrated raising over $4,000 while addressing the crowd at Paulie Gee’s restaurant in Brooklyn, New York.
“And that’s because of all of you,” he continued. “I mean, how cool? Thank you all for taking a chance on a Wednesday night to do something kind of crazy and different.”

The focal point of the night was BENEE, complete with pigtails and trendy glasses. She had just announced her sophomore album hours prior, and approached the makeshift stage for an intimate performance.
The artist explained that while she loves a grandiose live performance with backing tracks, an acoustic concert is “beautiful” in its own way. She even revealed that when she hears a favorite artist sing acoustic she cries.
Some attendees flew in from Italy, and with such an intimate space, they had a chance to sing for BENEE. The artist had a chance to answer questions from the crowd, elaborating on some of her favorite original tracks.

BENEE mentioned “Cinnamon,” which is about her tumultuous move to Los Angeles and the culture shock of healthcare. She joked about almost needing to “abort the mission,” but stuck it out in the end.
“And I’ll stay sweet like cinnamon,
I’ll stay asleep until 3PM.
I’ll wake up on the floor,
Not asking much, to be adored.”
– “Cinnamon,” BENEE
Of course, her performance ended with an acoustic rendition of her song with Gus Dapperton that went viral on TikTok, “Supalonely.” She asked fans to sing along with her, ending with a round of applause from the cramped crowd.
The Wild Honey Pie has several charity events lined up for fall 2025, including performances from The Starting Line, Mallrat, and Hannah Jadagu. More information can be found at their website.
