Sophie Prettyman-Beauchamp

Sophie Prettyman-Beauchamp (she/they) is a Los Angeles-born filmmaker, photographer, and music journalist. They received their Bachelor of Arts in Film & Media Studies from the University of California, Irvine, where they additionally spent 4 years DJing at KUCI 88.9 FM and got their start covering the music scene in Southern California. Regardless of medium, her work typically explores queer and intersectional stories, with the goal of amplifying marginalized voices within various spaces. When she isn't working on pieces for Atwood, Sophie does content curation and partnership management for The Light Leaks. Get in touch with them on social media.
