Preview: Half the Animal Plan to Make “Magic” on Tour

Half the Animal seem to encapsulate what it means to be a pop band with heart. The Los Angeles-based trio fuses infectious melodies and irresistible vocal hooks with resounding, relatable lyrics. The result is a presence, and sound, that’s hard to ignore and electric to experience live and in color. Already creating a buzz, the band has received great response this past year touring with the likes of Great Good Fine Ok, Smallpools and Atlas Genius.

Their latest single, “Magic,” is equal parts danceable, catchy and suave, solidifying the band’s trademark sound and style.

Blood shot eyes on the east side
Looking like vampires
It’s working alright
Wasted nights on the high rise
Taking that joyride
Tripping all night
Listen: “Magic” – Half the Animal

By the end of the track, it’s obvious that Half the Animal have found their niche in an oversaturated pop music market by embodying happiness, prioritizing fun, and simply being themselves. With a knack for striking chords that hit home and a willingness to let loose, Half the Animal is a breath of fresh air both on and off the stage.

To get in on all the good vibes and witness the “Magic” before these guys really make their mark, catch them on headline shows across multiple U.S. states and accompanying lovelytheband on their “Broken Like Me” tour. Dates below.
