Every other week, Anthony Kozlowski pens the Atwood Magazine column Tunes & Tumblers, pairing new and classic albums with cocktail recipes. He quickly found however that drinking alone is a sad business. So he invited his friends Pedro Isaac Chairez and Ryan James into a recording booth to aid in mixing delicious drinks and to discuss the music that they all love. Strap on your headphones and enjoy a cold one on us.
The Tunes & Tumblers gang jump on the “Stranger Things” bandwagon to chat about casts’ music careers, Vecna-inspired shots, and hear from Ruby Sparks about their latest EP, California Honey.

Ever wondered what songs the Tunes & Tumblers crew would use to evade Vecna? The gang travels into the Upside Down to chat about all things “Stranger Things” looking at the music careers of Djo (Steve) and Maya Hawke (Robin) and how to convince Anthony to watch it (we’re still working on that last one). There’s also a new voice in town, a tangent about the sus-ness of Dasani water, and LA indie band Ruby Sparks give us a taste of their latest EP California Honey. Not to mention an eerie Upside Down shot. Let’s drink!
Wanna drink with us? Then you’ve gotta do it responsibly. Pedro whipped up the ultimate Vecna’s Web shot, so here’s the recipe!
•• ••
Vecna’s Web
- 1oz Peach Schnapps
- .5oz Bailey’s Irish Cream
- Grenadine
- Blue Curacao
Pour Schnapps into shot glass. Layer bailey’s on top. Add drops of grenadine and blue curaçao to shot glass to create a cloudy webbing effect. Cheers!
